Red Bulls Pick Up 9-4 Win
|
Fred Constant left his imprint on the 9-4 Riverside win against the Killeen Black Knights. Constant, who is tied for 4th in the ACL with a .557 slugging percentage, went 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Riverside is now 100-40, 8 games up in the Alexander Cartwright League Pirate Parrot League.
Lorenzo Castillo helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 3-run home run to give Riverside a 3-0 lead.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Constant told the Riverside News.
