Suzuki hits 2 home runs, Leads Red Bulls to Win
|
The Riverside Red Bulls bested the Atlantic City Enforcers by a score of 6-3, with second baseman Tatsuzo Suzuki getting the main credit. On the day, Suzuki slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Red Bulls. Allen Blair was credited with the save for Riverside, his 14th of the season. The Red Bulls improved to a lofty 96-38.
Suzuki went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice against the Enforcers. In the bottom of the first inning, he hit a 2-run home run that scored 2 and put Riverside in front, 2-0.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Suzuki told the Riverside News.
