Atlantic City right fielder Masujiro Hayagawa played a vital role in his team's 9-4 triumph over Riverside. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Atlantic City. Jin-song Ouyang, the winner, improved to 5-14. He held Riverside to 3 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Even with the win, the Enforcers have a dismal 42-90 record.

There were several reasons the Enforcers beat the Red Bulls, but one factor was Ryuichi Kobayashi. In the top of the fifth, the Atlantic City catcher came to bat and hit a 2-run single. It staked his team to a 5-3 lead.
