Big Day for Han as Black Knights Down Defenders, 12-10
Kyu-jin Han was the difference-maker for the Killeen Black Knights in what turned into a shootout with the West Coast Defenders. Han earned the player of the game award after going 4-for-4 in the 12-10 Black Knights win. Vincent Roger got the win, improving to 4-2. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 6 runs on 11 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. The save went to Chang-wei Zhou, his 6th this season.

Tom Mailman was one of the major contributors to the win for Killeen. The light-hitting second baseman stroked a home run to right in the bottom of the second inning. For the day, he was 2 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"Winning makes the heart grow fonder -- for more winning," said Han, cracking a smile.

Killeen is now 39-94.
