Ducks Win Again, Streak Now at 10
|
The West Coast Defenders got a superb performance from second baseman Toru Yoshikawa, but the Wisconsin Dells Ducks still won the game, 6-5. Yoshikawa was named the player of the game despite the loss. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Wisconsin Dells reliever Anenas Kunwarjit was the winner. His record is now 4-0. The losing pitcher was Tsugumichi Yano. The Ducks have now won 10 straight.
Byung-ki Chong contributed to the Wisconsin Dells cause with a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh inning. With the bases loaded, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, propelling Wisconsin Dells to the win.
