Enforcers Fall Short, 7-6, at Silicon Valley

The Silicon Valley Hackers turned back the Atlantic City Enforcers, 7-6, at San Jose Municipal Stadium. Horiuchi Sugiyama was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Silicon Valley is 4th in the Alexander Cartwright League Pirate Parrot League with a record of 72-52.
Christophe Langlois contributed to the Silicon Valley win. The 22-year old right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Langlois went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
In comments to the Silicon Valley Daily, Sugiyama insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
