Trojans Saddle Black Knights with 7-4 Loss
|
Getting a good performance from designated hitter Yasujiro Iitsuka, the Sioux Falls Trojans defeated the Killeen Black Knights, 7-4. Iitsuka was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Trojans. The third-place Trojans now have a win-loss record of 61-62.
Iitsuka had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fifth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Trojans went on to win.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Iitsuka told reporters after the game.
