|
Pacifica rode a fine outing from starter Iván Cabrera to victory over the Frisco Rams at Outlander Park. The final score was 6-2. Cabrera, the winner, moves to 6-4. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 3 walks. The first-place Shamrocks are now 78-43, the Rams 74-47.
Si-dao Chi had a go-ahead double for Pacifica in the top of the first. With one out and a runner on 1st, the former first round draft pick hit a run-scoring double off Kenneth Bisson. His 11th double of the season made the score 1-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Chi told the Pacifica Daily News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
