Wisconsin Dells and Killeen met at The Bird Stadium in front of a lively crowd.
The Wisconsin Dells Ducks buried the Killeen Black Knights, 12-1, under a barrage of hits. Jayin Sita led the onslaught, going 2-for-4 for Wisconsin Dells. Roberto Gonzáles, the winner, improved to 4-1. He held the Black Knights to 0 runs on 5 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1.
One important at-bat for Wisconsin Dells came with no one out in the top of the fifth inning. With the bases loaded, Sita hit a grand slam, which contributed to the Ducks win.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Wisconsin Dells Ducks manager Bobby Edwards, "I like our chances."
The Ducks saw their record improve to 78-41.
