Victory Over Trojans Takes Wisconsin Dells to 76-39
Wisconsin Dells withstood an impressive performance by Sioux Falls shortstop Takeji Kudo to defeat the Trojans, 5-4, at Trojans Park. Kudo was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Wisconsin Dells reliever Gesang Kartosuwiryo picked up the win, bumping his record to 5-1. Alain Picard was collared with the loss. Tim Stady Jr. earned the save for Wisconsin Dells, his 21st.

The game hit a turning point in the top of the fourth inning, when the Ducks were trailing 3-2. Ernesto Sosa delivered a two-out 2-run double for Wisconsin Dells, catapulting his team into the lead.

In comments to the Wisconsin Dells Daily News, Sosa admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."

The Trojans, now 56-59, have lost 4 in a row.
