Hellcats Win at Temple, 5-4
|
The Jacksonville Hellcats picked up a win at Goers Field, knocking off the Temple Goers, 5-4. Starting pitcher Kane Wright played a key role in the triumph. Jacksonville is now 49-68, Temple 52-62.
Baltazar Sartores was one of the major contributors to the win for Jacksonville. The light-hitting designated hitter stroked a single to right in the top of the first inning. For the day, he was 1-4.
"Kane was throwing free and easy," said Jacksonville manager Pete Dellow.
