Pitcher Danny Wilson was sensational for the Temple Goers in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Jacksonville Hellcats. Wilson received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. Manuel García earned the save, his 1st. The 5th-place Goers improved to 52-61.

In the bottom of the fifth, Brandon Harrison muscled up and hit a 3-run home run. It put Temple ahead, 4-1. For the game, Harrison went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Jacksonville manager Pete Dellow.
