Loss Extends Silicon Valley Losing Streak
The Silicon Valley Hackers and Pacifica Shamrocks brought some excitement to San Jose Municipal Stadium.

The Pacifica Shamrocks topped the Silicon Valley Hackers, 9-1, in Alexander Cartwright League action at San Jose Municipal Stadium. The player of the game was Pacifica second baseman Alastair Honniball. Pacifica reliever Pascal Leroy picked up the win to move to 2-1. Mokichi Nishiyama suffered the loss. Pat Bertram closed the game out for Pacifica, earning his 1st save.

Honniball had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the second inning, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Shamrocks went on to win.

"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Bob Miller. "But it's got to translate into wins."

The Silicon Valley losing skid has reached 7 games.
