The Pacifica Shamrocks outlasted Samuel Keeble and the Silicon Valley Hackers, 10-8. Keeble was impressive in the loss. The Silicon Valley pitcher threw 6 innings of shutout ball. Pacifica reliever Paul Calamy picked up the win to move to 4-7. Dong-kwan Kim suffered the loss. The losses continue to mount for Silicon Valley, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Ron Colbert had the most critical at-bat for Pacifica. With no one in the top of the 11th inning, Colbert hit a 0-1 fastball from Dong-kwan Kim for a solo home run. It put Pacifica in front, 9-8.

"Guys always talk about winning games because of the 'little things,'" Colbert told the Pacifica Daily News. "Call me old fashioned, but I think baseball is about the big things -- like scoring more runs."
