The Lake of the Isles Wolves powered past the Newark Jail Birds, 8-5, at Cobras Ballpark. Jorge Soriano was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3, to lead the charge. Juan Quezada closed the game out for Lake of the Isles, earning his 1st save. Lake of the Isles is now 51-64, Newark 30-84.

Soriano contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the eighth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Lake of the Isles get the win.
