Earthquakes Lose to Toreros in Walk Off
|
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.
Cabo San Lucas beat San Francisco at Field de Los Layendas, eking out a 7-6 win. The win was due in large part to third baseman Eddy Carpentier, who earned player of the game honors. Cabo San Lucas now owns a record of 16-18.
Carpentier had the big at-bat for Cabo San Lucas. With two out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, giving Cabo San Lucas the 7-6 win.
"There's no quit in this team," said Cabo San Lucas Toreros manager José Núñez.
