Rams Get Past West Coast for 3-2 Win
Both teams had their chances, but the Frisco Rams eventually prevailed at North Shore Park.

The Frisco Rams did just enough to sneak past the West Coast Defenders, 3-2, at North Shore Park. Frisco pitcher Sigfrid Arnim earned player of the game honors. Toshikasu Yoshida got credit for the save for Frisco. It was his 4th of the year.

Had Anamol Magesh not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Magesh hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Rams.

After the game, Frisco manager Enrique Ramírez applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

With the win, Frisco goes to 68-42, while the Defenders fall to 50-60.
