Rams Take Close Win Over Hackers
Frisco beat Silicon Valley at Outlander Park, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to catcher Yen-nien Sun, who earned player of the game honors. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. The winner was Frisco reliever Ambrosius Mair, now 2-0. The loser was Dorian Payne. Frisco has now won 3 in a row.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 6-6, third baseman Sang-soo Kim won it for Frisco. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Kim hit a 1-2 fastball from Dorian Payne for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 7-6 win.

"This is truly a great team to play with," Sun said after the game. "We're like brothers, and when we come together to pull out the win, that just makes it all the better."
