The South Carolina Bombers easily defeated the San Diego Hops, 16-4, at Bomber Ballpark, with catcher Shannon Craft a main contributor to the win. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for South Carolina. The winner was Luis Vega, who threw 118 pitches over 6.2 innings. The right-hander was charged with 4 runs on 10 hits. The Bombers bumped their record to 18-15 with this latest triumph.

The fans who came in support of the Bombers were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Bomber Ballpark.
