The Lake of the Isles Wolves faced a tough opponent in Riverside pitcher Jay Till, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Den by a final score of 6-5. Till went 7 innings and allowed 4 earned runs. The winner was Lake of the Isles reliever Jorge Navarro, now 3-3. The loser was Allen Blair. The Wolves improved to 47-57.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Lake of the Isles trailing 5-4, Mazur Gandapur hit a cutter from Allen Blair to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Wolves had a walk-off win.

Gandapur said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
