Torres Hits 2 home runs in Gamblers Win
Roberto Torres was the difference-maker for the Las Vegas Gamblers in what turned into a shootout with the San Francisco Earthquakes. Torres earned the player of the game award after going 2-for-4 in the 12-9 Gamblers win. Fred Butler picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-2. He struck out 3 in 7 innings. Losses have been few and far between for the Earthquakes so far this season. Their record drops to 22-11.

Torres put Las Vegas up, 5-4, when he hit a 3-run home run off Paul Groulx in the bottom of the third. His 5th home run of the season helped the Gamblers capture the win.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Torres.
