|
In a low-scoring tilt between the Silicon Valley Hackers and the West Coast Defenders, Todd Anderson was the difference-maker. The Silicon Valley right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-1 win. Kirk Redman closed the game out for Silicon Valley, earning his 13th save. With the win, Silicon Valley goes to 65-40, while the Defenders fall to 47-58.
One of the key players for the Hackers was left fielder Allen Foley, who drilled a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning. For the game, Foley was 1 for 3.
"Todd was pounding the zone," said Silicon Valley manager Bob Miller.
