The Newark Jail Birds stopped the Temple Goers, 5-1, at Cobras Ballpark. The Jail Birds got a big game from Lewis Hoskins, who was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Jail Birds now have a record of 27-72 with the win over Temple.
