In a close game at Outlander Park, the Frisco Rams edged the Lake of the Isles Wolves, 4-3. Frisco catcher Yen-nien Sun earned the nod as player of the game. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. The winner was Frisco reliever Rainer Waldheim, now 1-1. The loser was Bill Lacy. The 4th-place Rams have won 5 in a row.

Mitsuhide Rin provided some late-game drama. In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and a runner on 3rd, Rin hit a run-scoring single. It helped Frisco take the lead and grab the win.
