Jacksonville and Silicon Valley met at Hellcats Park in front of a lively crowd.

The Jacksonville Hellcats picked up a win at Hellcats Park, knocking off the Silicon Valley Hackers, 9-6. Starting pitcher Josh Richard played a key role in the triumph. Kawanari Uchida nailed down his 6th save.

Also making an impact was center fielder Baltazar Sartores, who drilled a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second inning for the Hellcats. For the game, Sartores went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Richard.

Jacksonville is in 6th place in the Alexander Cartwright League Pirate Parrot League with a record of 42-56.
