Eureka starter Paul Barrett kept the New York hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a 9-1 win. The Hornets saw their record improve to 15-18.

Barrett worked his mojo for Eureka. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits over 6.1 innings of work.
