The Riverside Red Bulls beat the Atlantic City Enforcers, 8-6, at Parliament Field. Riverside center fielder Tsunayoshi Ito earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The save was credited to Allen Blair, his 4th.

With one out in the top of the third, Tatsuzo Suzuki drilled a 3-run home run to left-center. It put Riverside ahead, 5-2. For the game, Suzuki went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.

Ito said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
