Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Trojans
In a low-scoring affair between the Sioux Falls Trojans and the Pacifica Shamrocks, pitcher Paul Rice was the difference between victory and defeat. The Sioux Falls right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-2 Trojans win. Sioux Falls reliever Bing-de Ku picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Paul Calamy shouldered the loss. Sioux Falls is now 45-47.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Sioux Falls left fielder César Martínez, facing Paul Calamy, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Trojans the 3-2 win.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Martínez said.
