Jail Birds Continue Skid Thanks to Khan, Red Bulls
A 4-RBI performance from the 23-year old left fielder Baber Khan helped the Riverside Red Bulls beat the Newark Jail Birds, 8-5. The winner was Riverside reliever Jayden Brown, now 7-1. The loser was Jon Green. Allen Blair was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 4 save opportunities.

Riverside grabbed control in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, Rich Baker delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 6-5 in favor of the Red Bulls.

"We've got a great group of guys," Khan said, "and we're having fun right now."

The Red Bulls improved to a lofty 64-26.
