Loss to Beetlecats Extends Temple Losing Streak
|
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats topped the Temple Goers, 7-4, with pinch hitter Tsuneyo Nakagawa playing a big role. Nakagawa was 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Beetlecats in the win. The win was credited to Bert Bleazard in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Luis Marés took the loss. Hidekazu Komatsu locked down his 21st save.
Buzzard's Bay took the lead in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and a runner on 1st, Yasunari Sato stroked a run-scoring triple to make it 3-2, Beetlecats.
