Sun Helps Rams Beat Enforcers
|
The Frisco Rams beat the Atlantic City Enforcers, 9-4, at Outlander Park. The Rams got a fine performance from catcher Yen-nien Sun, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times. Ronaldo Teves got the win, improving to 7-7. He held the Enforcers to 4 runs on 5 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 1. Frisco is now 54-39, while Atlantic City is 30-62.
The Rams took the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Anamol Magesh banged a two-out home run. Frisco had been trailing 1-0, but Magesh hit a first pitch fastball from Jin-song Ouyang for a 2-run home run.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Magesh.
