Trojans Topple Wolves as Iitsuka Shines
|
The Sioux Falls Trojans topped the Lake of the Isles Wolves, 9-4, with youngster Yasujiro Iitsuka playing a key role. Iitsuka went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs for the Trojans in the win. Sioux Falls is now 43-45.
Su-wu Jiao was one of the major contributors to the win for Sioux Falls. The light-hitting right fielder stroked a triple to right in the top of the first inning. For the day, he was 1-5 with a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
"Feels good to get the job done," Iitsuka said after the game.
