The Sioux Falls Trojans got a magnificent effort from pitcher Jonathan Burton, who kept Buzzard's Bay hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Trojans win at Trojans Park. Bing-de Ku closed the game out for Sioux Falls, earning his 13th save. Sioux Falls is now 42-44.
Paul Rice had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring single, helping Sioux Falls to the win.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Buzzard's Bay manager Roberto Núñez. "The effort was great."
