Nathan Sewell made an impact in the 4-2 Pacifica win over Riverside. Sewell, who is tied for 5th in the ACL with a .438 on-base percentage, went 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Carlos León, the winner, improved to 6-1. He held the Red Bulls to 2 runs on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Earning his 23rd save of the year was Paul Calamy.

Pacifica took the lead with no one out in the top of the second when Bob Fullerton stroked a 2-run home run. That made the score 2-0 in favor of Pacifica. For the day, Fullerton was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Riverside manager Joe Ward said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
