Enforcers Curb Hackers, 6-3

The Atlantic City Enforcers beat the Silicon Valley Hackers, 6-3, at Parliament Field. The Enforcers got a fine performance from third baseman Cornell Frank, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Máximo Larreta was credited with the save for Atlantic City, his 11th of the season. The Enforcers are now 27-59, while the Hackers fall to 55-32.
Carlos Espinosa broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the second with a run-scoring single. It put the Enforcers in front, 2-1. For the game, Espinosa went 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
"Good win for us," said Espinosa. "We'll lace up our cleats and go after the next one."
