Riverside got a terrific game from second baseman Tatsuzo Suzuki. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Frisco, 9-5. Suzuki was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 4-4 with 4 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 4 runs. The winner was Ronaldo Teves, who threw 96 pitches over 5 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits. Frisco goes to 45-33, Riverside to 55-22.

Frisco first baseman Matt Lewis helped the Rams to the win. In the top of the second inning, the 24-year old first baseman stroked a 3-run home run. For the game, Lewis went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Frisco manager Enrique Ramírez.
