The West Coast Defenders defeated the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 7-4. Earning player of the game honors was shortstop Keith Reese, who was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
