The Silicon Valley Hackers buried the Riverside Red Bulls, 12-2, under a barrage of hits. Javier Cháves led the onslaught, going 4-for-5 for Silicon Valley. Qing-nian Wa, the winner, improved to 4-1. He held the Red Bulls to 2 runs on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 3. The Hackers have an impressive 44-28 record.

Cháves provided the big break for the Hackers in the top of the second inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single, helping Silicon Valley to get the win.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Riverside manager Joe Ward. "We got flat-out beat."
