Trojans Go Down to Defeat, 5-3
|
West Coast center fielder Yoshiaga Oshima made his presence felt in the 5-3 Defenders triumph over the Sioux Falls Trojans. Oshima went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. West Coast's record now stands at 30-37, placing them 4th in the Alexander Cartwright League Bernie Brewer Division.
Oshima hit a 2-run double in the top of the third to help the West Coast cause. The double, which was hit off Jonathan Burton, allowed West Coast to take a 4-2 lead.
"Enjoyed this one," Oshima told the West Coast Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
