Wolves Suffer 8-4 Loss to Red Bulls
With third baseman José Trujilio leading the charge, the Riverside Red Bulls defeated the Lake of the Isles Wolves, 8-4, at Red Bull Stadium. Trujilio, who is tied for 8th in the ACL in runs scored with 47, went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Chuk-yan Chio picked up the win, improving his season record to 6-4. He struck out 6 in 5 innings. Pat McConnell earned the save, his 1st.

In the bottom of the second, Trujilio had one of his most important at-bats: a 2-run home run off Bruce Brown that staked the Red Bulls to a 2-0 lead.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Joe Ward said.
