Win Streak Now at 6 for Hackers
|
The Silicon Valley Hackers extended their winning streak at North Shore Park.
Mokichi Nishiyama never let West Coast get something going. The Silicon Valley right-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Hackers to a 5-1 win. Nishiyama picked up the win for Silicon Valley, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Yin-reng Ai earned his 1st save in 3 tries.
Yodo Tashima helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring double to give Silicon Valley a 1-0 lead.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Silicon Valley manager Bob Miller.
The 4th-place Hackers now have a 6-game winning streak.
