Late Rally by Rams Seals 4th Straight Win
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 24-year old first baseman Carlos Rosário helped the Frisco Rams beat the Jacksonville Hellcats, 5-2. The win was credited to Onel Lindo in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Devlin Wulf took the loss. William MacDougal closed the game out for Frisco, earning his 7th save.
Had Rosário not come through in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Rosário hit a grand slam. The Rams never looked back after taking the 5-2 lead.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Frisco manager Enrique Ramírez.
Frisco has now won 4 straight, while the Hellcats have lost 3 in a row.
