Gamblers Fall to .500 After Loss to Earthquakes
|
The San Francisco Earthquakes powered past the Las Vegas Gamblers, 14-5, at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard . Anthony Walker was 4-6 with a triple and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once, to lead the charge. Jo-hsi Sang got the win, improving to 2-1. He held the Gamblers to 3 runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. With their winning streak at 5, the Earthquakes have raced to a strong start this season.
Walker had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the first, when he hit a 2-run triple. The Earthquakes went on to win.
"Feels good to get the job done," Walker said after the game.
