Red Bulls Win Behind Chio, 11-1
|
The Riverside Red Bulls went home winners at The Bird Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Chuk-yan Chio. Chio silenced the Killeen Black Knights, enabling Riverside to grab the 11-1 win. The Black Knights have now dropped 5 straight.
Chio, who leaned on his cutter, allowed no runs on just 1 hit over 6 innings for the Red Bulls. For the most part, Killeen hitters were simply overmatched.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Chio.
