Wolves Clip Rams in Tight Contest
The Lake of the Isles Wolves topped the Frisco Rams by the score of 8-5, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Ramón Ledezma. Ledezma went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Wolves. The win was credited to Ger Oude Nijhuis in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Toshikasu Yoshida took the loss. Bill Lacy was credited with the save for Lake of the Isles, his 9th of the season.

Ledezma had a game-changing single in the bottom of the eighth. On a full count cutter from Dan Hall, he banged a 2-run single to right, giving the Wolves a 6-5 lead. It was the 49th hit of the year for Ledezma.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Ledezma told a Lake of the Isles Chronicle reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."

The Wolves' win now puts them at 26-35.
