The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Jacksonville fans at Hellcats Park.

Jacksonville starter Kane Wright put a stranglehold on the West Coast offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Hellcats to a 4-1 win. With the win, the Hellcats improved to 29-34.

Mexico City, Mexico-born Eduardo Rosário came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded and the Hellcats trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to left to put Jacksonville on top.

"I liked his command," said Jacksonville manager Pete Dellow. "Kane was throwing strikes."
