The Jacksonville Hellcats went home winners at San Jose Municipal Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Josh Richard. Richard silenced the Silicon Valley Hackers, enabling Jacksonville to grab the 7-0 win. Jacksonville is now 26-32, while Silicon Valley is 32-26.

Also pitching in was Jacksonville left fielder Martín Gonzáles, who hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, Gonzáles went 1 for 4 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.
