The West Coast Defenders defeated the Lake of the Isles Wolves, 7-6. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Hirofumi Rin, who went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. George Fortin finished to wrap up his 14th save. West Coast now owns a record of 27-32.

Rin had a game-changing single in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch curveball from Juan Santana, he banged a run-scoring single to right, giving the Defenders a 7-6 lead. It was the 50th hit of the year for Rin.
