Taniguchi Slugs Ducks to 7-4 Win
|
The Wisconsin Dells Ducks topped the Frisco Rams, 7-4, with youngster Motoyuki Taniguchi playing a key role. Taniguchi hit 2 home runs for the Ducks in the win. Earning his 2nd save for Wisconsin Dells was Tim Stady Jr.. The Ducks now own a record of 38-19.
Colombia-born Jorge Molina came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd and the Ducks trailing 2-0, he hit a 3-run home run to left-center to put Wisconsin Dells on top.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Molina said.
