The Sioux Falls Trojans wasted an inspired, 7-inning effort from starter Tokutomi Nishida, falling 2-1 to the Pacifica Shamrocks at McCormick Field. Paul Calamy nailed down his 13th save. Pacifica is now 36-16, 6˝ games up in the Alexander Cartwright League Bernie Brewer Division.

One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the sixth inning. Facing Sioux Falls hurler Tokutomi Nishida, Ron Colbert hit a single. The Shamrocks went on to win.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Colbert.
